Do you think it’s possible for DNA to sustain life not only for one lifetime, but for many lifetimes?
When you say this, I think of cloning. One set of DNA is replicated to sustain two essentially different lifetimes. So in terms of scientific tweaking, I guess that yes DNA can sustain more than one life. (I'm assuimg you are refering to the same set of DNA) As for nonoverlapping lifetimes, I'm not so sure. Genetic material is passed from parent to offspring, but only after going though recombination mechanisms and merging with another set of DNA from the other parent. Perhaps whatever memory present within the cells that compose you govern the your deja vus?

Hey!

We do wonder about the mysterious.

No matter where our souls lie, no matter what form or forms they really take, and no matter where our higher beings are really situated, we are here. This is for certain. Cellular memory and the rising and power of past lives are tides of overwhelming forces of what is all part of the unexplainable. We may never be able to understand the reason behind things such as déjà vu and the haunting of spiritual figures, but all these things appear to be manufactured by ambiguous tales in histories, whether of the present or of the past.

The important thing that I have learned – and I’m sure that some of you have too – is to live in the present. Whether or not we really have a “life” or an “identity” somewhere out there in the unknown abyss, it is always important to live your life, perhaps not as nature intended, but as you intended to. What is the most significant identity, or the most important self? It is really one’s own identity, one’s own self. Keep wondering about the mysterious. Keep searching for those perplexing answers to what you seek in life. In this life, in this presence, no one but you represents your own being. As for other lives – the next life, perhaps, of the past life – we cannot really know. So what is reality? What is real and what is not? You define it. It is entirely up to you to interpret for yourself what exists in the realm of reality, and what does not. Is love real? Is time real? Is power real? Is life real? You define these things. But what seems more real than ever is the present, the present you, the present you. The Power of Now – that is one thing that is real.

So, with this, I conclude my discussion! I encourage all of you to continuing seeking for the truth that defines reality, but most important of all, search deeply for all that is real for you. You are you, and you always will be you, in the next life, or in any other life.

I thank of all of you who have participated in this discussion, and everyone is welcome to join this discussion in the future; I look forward to reading any insightful comments that you may have! Smile
